The author of these memoirs, Lei Trachtman-Palchan, unusual fate. In 1922, a nine-year-old girl, parents brought her from the Ukrainian town of Sokolivka in "Little Tel Aviv" of the submanent Palestine. And when she was not fulfilled and eighteen, the British sent it to the USSR for underground communist activities. Only after forty years, in 1971, Leia and her son returned, finally in Israel.
Memories are interesting, first of all, the phenomenal memory of the memoirovka, which preserved many names and events, household details, small things through which it is possible to understand last life. For the first time, memoirs were published in Hebrew by two books: "From Little Tel Aviv to Moscow" (1989) and "Forty years of the life of Israeli in the Soviet Union" (1996)
