Aleksandar Jugović is a well-known Serbian writer and playwright. His new novel is a confession of the main character about his life and missed life opportunities. The book contains three semantically strong moments. The play of language weaves together great masterpieces of world art: the very title is a quote from the famous baroque drama "Life is a Dream" by Pedro Calderon, an allusion to witches from Slavic folklore symbolism, which in Serbia are called Mory, and who drive a person into melancholy. Fans of Dostoevsky's "Notes from Underground" and Ivo Andrić's "The Woman from Sarajevo" will also find a book for themselves in this novel.
