The main task of the textbook is to familiarize students with the psychology of a sick person: his attitude towards the disease and to the surrounding. The psychology of therapeutic interaction is considered in detail. Psychological mechanisms of disease occurrence are described and analyzed. For this purpose, a chapter on psychosomatic states was introduced, containing information on age and family psychology. Final chapters are devoted to psychocorrection and psychotherapy, in particular the restoration of an adequate attitude towards the disease and the perception of the surrounding.
