In the second volume of book III leadership, materials for the dissemination and clinical manifestations of opportunistic, including internal hospitals, infections, which are in the modern development of society and medicine, an important socio-economic problem are collected and summarized. This volume is a logical continuation of the book 3.1 and contains the introductory part, sections according to the characterization of clinical manifestations, epidemiology of opportunistic infections, their prevention and therapy. The introductory part is given to the definition of an opportunistic nosocomial infection, etiology and features of the epidemic process, immunological disorders that contribute to the emergence of such infections are given by the algorithm of their microbiological diagnostics. The section of major clinical manifestations contains information on the nature and forms of flow, etiology, methods and stages of the microbiological diagnosis, treatment and prevention of opportunistic infections in clinics of various profiles - surgical, traumatol-orthopedic, dental, therapeutic, urological, dermatological, oncological. Much attention is paid to the role of antibiotic-resistant forms of microorganisms in the emergence of intra-hospital infections. The features of the manifestation of opportunistic infections in elderly people, with HIV infection and AIDS are described. In the section Epidemiology of Non-Riest Foreign Infections section, their relevance is considered, the definition and present information on the structure, functions and the main provisions of the epidemic surveillance system are considered. The characteristic of etiologically significant microorganisms is shown, their sensitivity to antibiotic drugs is determined, the sources and reservoirs of pathogens of mineralized infections are indicated, the paths of their transfer to the medical institutions of various profiles: objects, resuscitation (including newborns), gynecological, children"s, surgical, burn, ophthalmologic, psychiatric, neurological, endoscopic, tuberculosis, LOR branches. Prevention and complex treatment of VBI are considered. Particular attention is paid to issues of protection of medical personnel from the nosocomial infection. In the section New Destinations in therapy and Prevention of opportunist infections, the principles and testimony for immunotropic therapy are described in detail, the use of prebiotic drugs for treatment and prevention is considered, the concept of developing new probiotic drugs is proposed.
