This textbook includes materials on general and private veterinary helminthology. The section “General helminthology” sets out the definition, content, brief history of the development of veterinary helminthology, helminth localization, pathogenesis, immunity for helminthiasis, as well as their diagnosis. The section “Private helminthology” discusses trematodoses, cestodosis, nematodoses and acantocephales. The disease is described according to the scheme that is generally accepted in parasitology: the name of the pathogen, morphology, biology, epizootological data, pathogenesis, symptoms, pathological changes, diagnosis, treatment and prevention.
