This guide for ultrasound diagnostics was conceived as a useful tool for those who want to study the ultrasound method and/or increase their level of both receipt and interpretation of ultrasound images. The advisable approach is based on the experience of the clinical ultrasound course of Scivac, which due to its ten -year training allowed the cohesion group of speakers to optimize the time of training, methods and strategies for transmitting theoretical/practical knowledge to participants.
The advantage of this leadership is a practical, clear and schematic approach. The first chapters include the basic principles known to those who use this method. Particular attention is paid to ultrasound artifacts, which should also be recognized and correctly interpreted by less experienced operators. The fourth chapter is a key point in the leadership, because thanks to numerous photographs and diagrams, it illustrates the main stages of acquiring the correct scanning technique and a systematic approach. The main part is followed by chapters dedicated to various organs of the abdominal cavity and extratoabdominal structures. All of them include a large introductory part, which, thanks to the use of tables and diagrams, provides accurate guide to the research technique and gives detailed information about normal ultrasound anatomy. The second part of each chapter of the main part is devoted to an ultrasonic study in pathological changes, which are considered clearly and schematically, and are also illustrated by numerous images.
