The leadership examines the main directions of the development of vaccine prevention in modern conditions. Its role was determined not only in the fight against infectious diseases, but also in the implementation of state health care policy. The legal basis for the implementation of vaccine -prevention in our country is presented, a comparative assessment of the national calendar of preventive vaccinations and calendars of preventive vaccinations of various countries is given. The main directions of improving the national calendar of preventive vaccinations are indicated.
