The book summarizes many years of experience of researchers in the use of new and promising technologies of ultrasonic mammography that are rapidly introducing into the clinical practice. The system of multi -parametric examination of the mammary glands separately discusses the possibilities of grayshore echography, various methods of additional dopplerography, flower coded modes, ultrasonic elastography, and contrasting vessels of the organ. The role and importance of innovative technologies of ultrasonic mammography in the differential diagnosis of inflammatory diseases, benign and malignant neoplasms, including using contrasting drugs of the latest generation, are shown. Close attention is paid to the issues of early, preclinical diagnosis of breast cancer.
Based on the analysis of basic and multi-parametric data, the ways of integrating the results of ultrasound studies with the international Bi-Rads system are determined. Special chapters are devoted to the study of “patrons” of the lymph nodes, the diagnosis of the pathology of the chest glands in men, invasive surgical interventions under ultrasound control, monitoring in the postoperative period.
