The monograph reflects (with the involvement of a significant amount of illustrative material - echograms and schemes) embryological, clinical and echographic aspects of the initial period (2-3 - 5-6 weeks) of progressive uterine pregnancy. In parallel with a typical version of dynamic echocartin, various modifications and nuances of the norm are considered. A separate chapter is devoted to the pathology of pregnancy of an early period. It provides echographic criteria for recognizing a threatening miscarriage and an undeveloped pregnancy. Moreover, information on ultrasonic symptoms of these complications has been expanded, systematized and updated. The last chapter presents the algorithms of the functional disorders of the menstrual cycle, which occur “under the mask” of early pregnancy and therefore requiring differentiation with the latter.
