The book is devoted to the issues of ultrasound diagnosis of acquired heart defects and is based on great experience in practical work and teaching ultrasonic diagnostics in the system of additional professional education, as well as data from domestic and foreign literature. The book sets out the main methodological and diagnostic aspects of ultrasound examination with acquired heart defects. A modern assessment of the severity of defects is given, which allows to correctly determine the tactics of patients of patients. The value of various methods of ultrasonic diagnosis is shown in the diagnosis of heart disease, in the identification of its complications, concomitant pathology and signs of blood circulation decompensation.
