The leadership summarizes modern ideas about the ultrasound examination of the stomach based on the literature and their own clinical experience of the authors. The methodology for studying the output department of the stomach is described in detail, in which pathological changes are more common than in other departments, and can lead to severe complications, the formation of stenosis of the gatekeeper and a delay in the evacuation of gastric contents. The leadership also describes the original methods of studying the stomach during the percutaneous ultra of the sound study of the abdominal cavity, the features of the ultrasound image of the output of the stomach in healthy people are noted and the feasibility of using this method for diagnosing diseases of the stomach is substantiated. Based on their own data, ultrasonic semiotics of the most common diseases of the output of the stomach are clarified: erosive and ulcerative lesions, benign and malignant tumors, organic stenosis of the gatekeeper, and ultrasonic criteria of gastroptosis, duodenogastral reflux. The 2nd edition also describes changes in the stomach with a new coronavirus infection Covid-19. The latter is especially relevant, since the study of the stomach using conventional rental and endoscopic methods in the presence of COVID-19 infection is limited due to the epidemic situation and the severe condition of patients.
