This atlas, which is positioned by the authors as a textbook, is devoted to ultrasound visualization of the peripheral nerves, most often requiring the implementation of diagnostic ultrasound examination. The purpose of the atlas is to help detect and explore the nerve using various methods of medical visualization.
The material is combined so that on each page there is a separate nerve that takes place in one of the typical anatomical areas. The page contains a series of images: a photograph that demonstrates the research methodology (position of the sensor), made in one plane of observation, a picture of an anatomical drug and an MRI cut (in T1-V), one or two echograms of a healthy nerve (longitudinal or panoramic scanning), as well as options with typical pathological changes (for example, compression neuropathy).
