This book contains relevant and systematic scientific and practical information about the autistic spectrum disorders (RAS), about their etiology and pathogenesis, about the characteristics of the mental development of children suffering from autism. The idea is carried out about the diversity of the nature and clinics of a races united by the outwardly unified facade of autism, the need to attract both psychological tests and psychopathological analysis, genetic studies, electroencephalography (including night monitoring), MRI. At the same time, positively evaluating the standards of assistance to children with RAS, the authors also provide the results of search research in this area. The book for the first time unites medical and psychological and pedagogical assistance to children with races, leading the reader to the need for multidisciplinary brigade assistance to such children. The book presents a holistic system of psychological and pedagogical correction of behavior disorders in children with RAS, which includes finds of foreign and domestic scientists. At the same time, the authors are guided by a family-centered approach, believing that the families of such children need psychological and pedagogical assistance, one of the forms of which can be joint campaigns, staying in rehabilitation camps, etc. Participation draws attention to the need for psychotherapeutic assistance to parents of children with races. For the first time, an autism is proposed system in families from a risk group in races.
The book is designed for students and interns of medical and pedagogical universities, specialists in the field of correctional pedagogy, rehabilitology and special psychology, doctors (child psychiatrists, neuropathologists, family doctors), as well as to parents of children with races.
Honored figure of science and technology of Ukraine, professor, MD Anatoly Chuprikov is a student of the outstanding Soviet neuropsychiatrist Sergey Semenov, a representative of the Bekhterevsky direction of the neuronauk. In the 60-70s he studied and worked at the Central Institute of Forensic Psychiatry. V. Serbsky, then in the Moscow Research Institute of Psychiatry, defended the candidate and doctoral dissertations in the line of the interests of his teacher. In the 80s he headed the Department of Psychiatry and Medpsychology of the Lugansk Medical Institute, later in the 90s he created in Kyiv and was the director of the Ukrainian Research Institute of Social and Judicial Psychiatry, and at the same time headed the Department of Children"s Psychiatry Nmapo named after P.L. Shupika, where it works on this time.
