The authors attempted to combine within the same publication the experience of practical medicine in the treatment of extensive superficial wound defects of the skin, to recall the anatomy and physiology of the skin, to highlight the nature of changes in intercellular and cell interactions in long-lived wounds, to show modern approaches and trends in AUTO - And allodermoplasty. Particular attention is paid to the treatment of injured with traumatic detachment of cover tissues, a section on the use of external fixation apparatus in this group of patients is identified.
