A collection of clinical recommendations (treatment protocols) for the provision of traumatological assistance to adults is the collective work of the leading traumatologists of Russia. The presented clinical recommendations will allow a practitioner to quickly and reasonably make the right decision in clinical practice.
The book sets out protocols for the most common damage to the musculoskeletal system: starting from fractures of various localizations of the upper and lower extremities and ending with damage to the ligamentous apparatus of the knee joint, wounds of the wrist and forearm. Protocols for the treatment of pathological fractures that occurred against the background of systemic osteoporosis are given. Particular attention is paid to the treatment of cerebrospinal trauma and damage to the pelvis, the correct and timely treatment of which will reduce the disability of the population.
Clinical recommendations are intended for practitioners: traumatologists and orthopedists, surgeons, therapists, as well as general practitioners and related specifics. The All-Russian Public Organization “Association of Traumatologists-Orthopedes of Russia” recommends using approved clinical recommendations in curricula for students, residents and graduate students. The publication can also be used in the system of continuous medical education
