In the second edition of this monograph, I paid great attention to the prospects of minimally invasive therapy for teeth injuries. Unlike caries or periodontitis, dental trauma is characterized by acute tissue damage, so its infectious component is initially relatively small. In addition, taking into account the average of young patients, the ability of tissues to restore is quite high. All this allows you to resort to less invasive and more biologically oriented methods for treating hard tooth tissue, pulp, periodontal ligament and alveolar bone. Thus, the purpose of the clinician is to use a gentle approach, which implies, if possible, rejection of traditional prosthetics, pulpectomy and teeth extraction. The second edition was published 12 years after the release of the first book "Teeth injury: diagnosis and treatment". During this time, significant progress has occurred in the field of diagnosis and treatment of dental diseases. In particular, the introduction of cone-beam computed tomography into the practice of a cone-ray-ray computer tomography has largely increased the accuracy of evaluating the severity of traumatic damage.
