The manual for veterinarians shows the basics of thoracic surgery: the anatomy of the chest and organs of the chest cavity, operational techniques and access. Also, sufficient attention is paid to the diagnosis of pathologies of the chest cavity, indications and contraindications for surgical intervention. Indications are given on the anesthesiological management of patients, both during the operation and in the early postoperative period.
