The training manual systematizes the basic theoretical and practical issues of hematology, describes hematological (including those used in immunosematology and in the assessment of hemostasis) laboratory methods and rules for working with blood. Information about the organization of the blood system and hematopoiesis, the morphofunctional properties of the main groups of blood cells, the immunological properties of blood and the norms of hematological indicators in humans are highlighted. Data on the classification, causes, development mechanisms and clinical and laboratory manifestations of reactive disorders and diseases of the blood system are given. Algorithms, methodological approaches and methods of differential diagnosis of anemia, leukocytosis, leukemoid reactions, leukopenia, hemoblastoses, and hemostasis disorders are described. The hematological manifestations of acute and chronic radiation disease are described.
