The textbook was developed in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard of Secondary Professional Education in the specialty 31.02.03 “Laboratory diagnostics”.
The book describes in detail the theoretical and practical foundations of hematological studies, describes the indicators of a general blood and additional tests. A detailed description of the technique of staining blood strokes and methods for calculating the uniform elements, microphotography and formulas of the main calculations is presented. Much attention is paid to laboratory diagnostics of hematological diseases, starting with anemia and ending with leukemia and lymphomas.
