The book opens a series of educational and reference guides Theory and practice of classical Chinese medicine. Both authors - Halmurat Vuopur and Denis Dubrovin - professor, doctors of medical sciences, have long been known in Russia with their books on Chinese medicine.
The real volume consists of several sections. The first part explains the rules for reading and writing the terms of Chinese medicine, a detailed story of the development of Chinese medicine with biographies of outstanding doctors and descriptions of the most important works is given. The theoretical section discusses in detail the basic philosophical concepts of Chinese medicine-yin-yang, five elements of U-Sin, physiology of organs Zan-Fu, twelve channels, vitality qi, theory Jing-cen, Wei- In-cu-sue ”, theories of pathogenesis“ Se-ki ”,“ Shang-khan ”,“ Wei-cyn-ine ”. The practical section examines in detail methods for making a diagnosis according to a classic survey, inspection, diagnosis by pulse and language. The classification of diseases is carried out according to the most common system of “eight syndromes” (Ba Gan Bian Zheng) At the end of this volume, an outline of the grammar of the Chinese classic written language with examples from canonical works is given
