The book was prepared by a team of authors-practicing doctors of the Military Medical Academy. S. M. Kirova, First Clinic of Surgery of the Advisory of Doctors. P. A. Kupriyanova and Doctor of Philosophy. Nazim Shikhverdiev - a cardiac surgeon, professor, doctor of medical sciences, honored doctor of the Russian Federation, laureate of the State Prize of the Russian Federation. Dmitry Ushakov is a cardiac surgeon, candidate of medical sciences. Grigory Khubulava is a doctor of philosophical sciences.
This publication is the first in Russia, dedicated to the value of biological age in cardiac surgery and methods of evaluating it. The book contains the results of the latest domestic and foreign research. The perception of old age in different eras as an ethical and aesthetic phenomenon is considered, various theories of aging are presented. Some chapters investigate the age -related features of morphology and physiology of organs and systems and factors affecting the pace of aging, as well as an assessment of the admissibility of surgical intervention and use of the body wear of the body.
