The practical guidance provides a structure for the provision of anti-TB assistance to patients with HIV infection. The characteristic of the most threatened tuberculosis and HIV infection of risk groups is given. The issues of identifying tuberculosis combined with HIV infection are highlighted at different levels of medical assistance to the population, the criteria for clinical and laboratory diagnosis of manifestations of pulmonary tuberculosis and HIV infection when combined are presented. The regimens of preventive anti-TB treatment of patients with HIV infection are considered. The possibilities of chemoprophylaxis in HIV-infected patients threatened by tuberculosis are shown.
