The functional and healthy dentist system of a person seems natural and beautiful. Aesthetic dentistry is not a separate specialty, rather this is a certain dental concept aimed at achieving an uncompromising result with attention to the smallest details. The ideas about beauty change over time, depend on the cultural traditions and subjective views of the individual. Thus, the achievement of a high aesthetic result of dental treatment is impossible without taking into account the wishes of a particular patient. When writing this book, I tried to describe various concepts and landmarks that can be used to achieve a common goal. In nature, there is no absolute symmetry. Natural beauty is an ideal combination of imperfect characteristics. However, symmetry and balance are very important factors affecting the aesthetics of the face. We, dentists, should strive to create restorations that satisfy the requirements and expectations of patients. Toyokhiko Hidak
