The system organization of physiological functions in healthy people and patients with epilepsy and predicting the effectiveness of activity.
The leadership presents the results of a study of the mechanisms of systemic organization of targeted activity in practically healthy people and patients with epilepsy. From the perspective of the theory of functional systems, physiological mechanisms of unequal effectiveness of cognitive activity in practically healthy subjects and patients with epilepsy were analyzed. Based on psychometric and electrophysiological indicators (electroencephalography, electromyography, exogenous and cognitive caused potentials), as well as indicators of mathematical analysis of the heart rhythm of the heart, fundamental differences in the system organization of the targeted activity of compared groups of subjects were revealed. It was established that the system organization of targeted activity of patients with epilepsy, carried out with various effectiveness, is associated with the nature of the course of the disease. At the same time, psychophysiological characteristics of patients with epilepsy in groups with various effectiveness of activity were revealed. Particular attention is paid to the possibility of predicting the effectiveness of targeted activity in all groups of subjects using the technology of artificial neural networks.
The book is intended for neurologists, neurosurgeons, functional diagnostics, physiologists, and specialists in the field of systemology
