The monograph is devoted to the analysis of contradictions in the modern idea of the most common brain disease - epilepsy. The proposed concept is based on the synthesis of psychoanalytic, ethological, physiological ideas about painful behavior. In the monograph, a systematic approach is postulated, proposed by the outstanding Russian physiologist P.K. Anokhin. A evidence-based base is given on a systemic clinical and physiological study.
