The reference book sets out differential diagnosis for 124 syndromes or symptoms of diseases of internal organs, including rarely encountering. Basis pharmacotherapy (BFT) includes groups of drugs and individual drugs using mainly international names without specifying dosages, treatment patterns, indications and contraindications. The reference book consists of two volumes, which contains a description of 124 syndromes. In the first volume, a list of abbreviations is given, at the end of the second volume, objective and eponymic pointers are given. We hope that the 4th, updated, the publication of the reference book will be useful for doctors of various specialties, especially therapists and general practitioners (family medicine) in solving complex diagnostic problems and choosing personalized therapy. Over the years of communication with readers of reference books, we were convinced that they serve as a textbook for students, interns, clinical residents.
Creating these reference books, we sought to fulfill one of the orders of S.P. Botkin (1867): "... the clinician teacher sets himself the first task to transfer to the students that method, guided by which the young practitioner would be able to subsequently To independently apply their theoretical and medical knowledge to sick individuals who will meet in the medical field. "
The need to create a redesigned reference book is explained by the complication of diagnosis due to polymorbism, erased and atypicality of the course of diseases, expand the list of so-called rare diseases, the effect of polypragmasis on the course of diseases.
