Throughout the human life, two desires accompany: the desire of the proximity and the desire of autonomy in relation to other people. It happens that children do not find the satisfaction of their vital early childhood needs in closeness with their parents. And then the familiar touch of a child with a mother can turn into a symbiotic injury. In the interlacing arising from such a mental injury, the author sees the source of most problems in the relationship, the causes of dependent behavior, fears, depression, and even schizophrenia. On numerous examples from his own practice, it shows how to recognize and treat symbiotic injuries.
