The manual describes the tools used in general surgical practice, identified tools used in narrow areas: abdominal, thoracic, cardiovascular, neurosurgery, obstetrics and gynecology, urology and traumatology. At the same time, emphasis on endododoosurgical instruments and mini -surgical access and techniques are made. The basics of microsurgery are presented. The rules for using a scalpel, tweezers, hemostatic clamps, surgical needle, needle -holder, suture material and knitting nodes, the main methods of imposing seams on different types of soft tissues are described. A section is given regarding the issues of compliance with discipline during surgery and assistance on a surgical operation. A wide list of tools of different companies taken from catalogs and the Internet is presented. At the same time, the main task was to show a wide range of tools used at the present stage, and this was done with information purposes, and not for advertising. Some of the illustrations are borrowed from previously published sources and the Internet.
