The monograph is devoted to an important medical and social problem - increasing the effectiveness of treatment of patients with tuberculosis using surgical interventions. The assessment of the effectiveness of surgical treatment in the remote period made it possible to establish the main controlled risk factors for reactivation of the tuberculosis process in the postoperative period. The impact of the deadlines for the use of surgical treatment on the long -term results of surgical treatment and the formation of drug stability of mycobacterium tuberculosis have been proven.
The innovative preoperative planning approach is presented using computer 3D modeling through the Autoplane program for planning surgical interventions on the lungs. A personified approach is proposed when choosing surgical treatment and improving the tactics of preoperative preparation.
