The book presents a modern concept of postoperative pain relief of patients who have undergone planned and emergency surgical interventions based on the integrated use of neopioid analgesics and adjuvant drugs, the effectiveness of which is confirmed by evidence -based medicine.
The management contains a detailed characteristic of neopioid drugs that may be components of multimodal analgesia with various surgical interventions. It is shown that the choice of the optimal anesthesia scheme should have procedures-specific in nature, that is, to be based on the features of the course of postoperative pain after the surgical intervention of a particular type. The choice of components of multimodal analgesia should be carried out depending on the trauma of the operation, the presence (or absence) in the structure of the pain syndrome of the neuropathic component, the expected duration of pain, etc. The form of schemes presents recommendations for postoperative analgesic for several typical surgery.
