The leadership discusses etiology, pathogenesis, clinical picture and treatment of rabdomyolysis. Traditionally, rabdomyolysis is associated with the syndrome of prolonged compression characteristic of natural disasters (earthquakes, etc) The authors focus on rabdomyolysis that develops in other situations: intoxication of various genesis, acute surgical pathology, prolonged/intense muscle load, and medication. Diagnostic and therapeutic measures are described depending on the severity of the course of rabdomyolysis.
