The publication proposed to the reader is devoted to the analysis of issues arising in the implementation of guardianship and trusteeship of adult citizens recognized as legally incompetent and limited in legal capacity due to mental disorder. The basis for the book was the generalization of many years of experience in counseling families, in which there are people with mental disorders, interaction with authorities, expert and legislative activities. For the first time, an attempt to describe in the most simple form is made in the most simple form, how they limited in legal capacity and legally incompetent citizens exercise their rights and fulfill their duties, how to act as guardians and trustees, how to apply to the court to recognize incompetent or disabilities in legal capacity and how to become a guardian or trusteeship . At the same time, links to existing legislation are given, international experience is taken into account.
