In this book, respiratory medicine (RM) is considered as a new independent section of healthcare, connected by its roots with medicine of critical conditions and pulmonology. The object of respiratory medicine is the respiratory failure of different pathogenesis in a patient in any of the clinical sections of healthcare. The book is divided into 3 parts: general problems of RM (I), its principles and methods (II) and the specifics of the RM in the sections of healthcare (III) In 18 chapters of the book, scientific foundations and the practical implementation of the principles of respiratory medicine in various clinical specialties are discussed.
