The leadership reflects modern ideas about the features of damage to the respiratory and cardiovascular systems for the COVID-19 infection, the lesions of other organs and systems, the clinical features of the COVID-19 course in the acute period and the post-shoe syndrome are described. The principles of organizing medical rehabilitation of patients with COVID-19, indications and contraindications to rehabilitation methods are considered. Separate chapters are devoted to the features of respiratory, cardiological, neurocognitive and psychological rehabilitation, the formation of the patient, the use of physical training of various types, nutritional support, drug therapy, assessing the clinical state of the patient in the process of rehabilitation. Groups of patients with cardiopulmonal complications on the background of COVID-19, accompanying chronic diseases of the lungs and cardiovascular pathology, were identified. The applications include approximate complexes of therapeutic exercises, tests and questionnaires recommended for use in medical rehabilitation.
