The textbook at the modern scientific and methodological level sets out material on chemistry of drugs: the issues of the structure and properties of medicinal substances, sources and ways to obtain, mechanisms of action and biotransformation are considered. Requirements for the quality of medicines are submitted in accordance with regulatory documents, including the pharmacopeies of the Russian Federation (XI and XII, part 1), Europe, USA, Japan, as well as with new data of current scientific periodicals and monographs. The features of the pharmacy control of the quality of medicines are considered in detail.
Most of the chapters of the textbook end in the section Control Questions and Tasks. The methods of standardization and quality control of drugs described in the publication can be used in a laboratory workshop.
The publication is intended for students of secondary educational institutions studying in the specialty Pharmacy. Separate sections of the textbook can be useful to university students and students of faculties of continuing education
