The textbook at the modern scientific and methodological level sets out material on chemistry of drugs: the issues of the structure and properties of drugs, sources and methods of their production, mechanisms of action and biotransformation are considered. Requirements for the quality of drugs are submitted in accordance with regulatory documents, including the pharmacopeies of the Russian Federation (XI and XII, part 1), Europe, USA, Japan, as well as with new data of current scientific periodicals and monographs. Features of intake -apparatus quality control of drugs are considered in detail. Most of the chapters of the textbook end in section "Control questions and tasks". The methods of standardization and quality control of drugs described in the publication can be used in a laboratory workshop.
