In the leadership, based on their own experience and data from domestic and foreign publications, the evolution of the study of pulmonary bleeding, its causes and sources, methods of urgent diagnosis and stages of urgent assistance are presented. Particular attention is paid to the sequence of actions and the use of dialing techniques for massive pulmonary bleeding. The authors proposed an algorithm for helping this contingent of patients. The features of the surgical treatment of certain diseases of the lungs complicated by hemofthesis are considered.
