The textbook is presented in four volumes: “bacteriosis”, “viral diseases”, “protozooses and helminthias”, “syndromic differential diagnosis of infectious diseases”. This volume is devoted to parasitic diseases (protozoosis and helminthiasis), it examines 26 nosological forms.
Compactly, in a visual unified form and logical-disocciative construction, goals and objectives, theoretical material covering the basic issues of etiology, epidemiology, pathogenesis, the features of the clinical manifestations of protozooses and helminthiasis, as well as differential diagnosis and tactics of treating parasitic diseases are given. For each nosological form, a scheme of the estimated basis of the doctor’s actions when working with the patient is given.
All topics are supplemented by controlling materials in the form of test tasks and situational clinical tasks. Such a construction of a teaching aid is convenient for everyday work, meets the objectives of training and the requirements of the pedagogical process aimed at forming a student of practical skills in making adequate decisions in a particular clinical and epidemiological situation.
