Prostatitis. Guide

Prostatitis is a common disease and is in third place among the causes of calls to urologists in the Russian Federation. Nevertheless, this disease is still in many ways mysterious, there is no clear and unambiguous concept of its etiology and pathogenesis, and, accordingly, a reasonable treatment strategy.
In the book, an attempt was made to systematize the existing scientific data on epidemiology and etiology of chronic prostatitis, its pathogenesis. The algorithm of examination and treatment of the patient with chronic prostatitis is given, including in combination with benign prostate hyperplasia.
