The textbook is compiled in accordance with the curriculum and curriculum for students of dental faculties. It complements the information contained in existing textbooks on surgical dentistry recommended in the Russian Federation for students of dental faculties. In particular, it provides a description and sets out a methodology for the use of modern materials, tools and devices used in surgical dentistry. The head of the “examination of the patient” outlines the principles of the syndromic approach to examination and diagnosis of diseases.
Particular attention is paid to the presentation of a modern approach to the operation of tooth extraction as surgical intervention, focused on creating optimal conditions for the rehabilitation of the chewing and speech apparatus by traditional prosthetics and prosthetics on implants. From these positions, the basics of biomechanics of the tooth extraction operations are set out, the knowledge of which is necessary for a doctor to reduce the trauma of such surgical intervention, and prevent possible complications.
To facilitate the self -training of students to practical classes and production practice, the manual contains more than 200 drawings
