"Professional biorhythmology" is the first significant work that distinguishes a new scientific and practical direction located at the junction of chronicle, labor protection, professional pathology and somatology.
The book presents the results of original multi-year studies of the features of circadian biorhythms in working with night shifts. The biorhythms are also highlighted during shift work, transmitional and trans -shielding movements. The methods of correcting the emerging desinchronosis and fatigue are considered, as well as methods of improving the quality of work into night shifts.
The chapter is especially worth the biorhythms of astronauts in long flights, written by one of the authors based on their own experience.
The last part presents some theoretical issues, including the role of natural illumination in circadian biorhythms, as well as the ratio of the role of light and sleep in melatonin products.
