After the publication of the classical monograph B.D. Carvasarsky "neurosis: Guide for doctors" in 1990. The very concept of neurosis almost disappears from professional literature. In the work presented to the reader, the author returns to the concepts of intrapersonal conflict, neurosogenesis and psychotherapeutic approaches, based on these concepts, at a new stage of development. The preservation of the most conceptual understanding of neurosis in psychotherapy is currently gaining special therapeutic relevance. The development of new theoretical and practical models of psychotherapy, based on classical ideas that have not lost their relevance and far from exhausting their scientific and therapeutic potential, will be indispensable in therapeutic practice.
The book is addressed to practicing therapists, students of psychological specialties, as well as a wide range of readers interested in the problems of neurosis
