The content of the book reflects the carefully summarized experience of ancient Eastern medicine, the results of international conferences and copyright results of acupuncture research. The monograph consists of nine chapters. The information and reference form of presenting the material of the book is subordinated to the main goal-to help a practical doctor-reflexology in solving complex diagnostic and therapeutic problems of acupuncture and cauterization, to find the most optimal way in choosing points for acupunctural impact. For this, the author analyzes along with the generally accepted a number of new provisions, which formed the basis of a significant number of original tables, first published in this work.
, when familiarizing themselves with the book, they will pay attention to the author’s argument on the current issue of the practical acupuncture - an adequate choice of a recipe for exposure points associated with the meridian system and the technique of conducting Zhen -Tsi. The author, for example, justifies the provision that the arbitrary use of individual points of exposure is often the reason for the inefficiency of the treatment.
For practical doctors, original tables have been developed and presented for the first time, reflecting the diverse connections of meridians, the understanding of which makes it possible to properly choose points of acupunctural exposure. The issues of communication between the meridians and the corresponding group of points are reflected in a specially written chapter. Of considerable interest is the consideration of physical factors of exposure to acupuncture points (cauterization, acupressure, the system of the ancient East of DO-IN, beekeeping at acupuncture points, etc) The manual contains “Applications” with an alphabetical list of acupuncture points and their localization, which will greatly facilitate acquaintance with the material of the book to novice reflexology doctors.
The book is designed for specialists in acupuncture.
In 1997, reflexology was introduced as an independent medical specialty by order No. 364 dated 10.12.97 of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation
