The book was written by the team of the Department of Skin and General Diseases of the First Moscow State Medical University named after I.M. Sechenov. It is intended for general practitioners, as well as family and clinical doctors. The publication contains brief illustrated descriptions of dermatoses that a practitioner may encounter.
The first chapters of the book contain information about the structure and functions of human skin, about the main morphological manifestations of dermatosis, as well as general therapeutic approaches in these diseases. The subsequent chapters describe frequently found dermatoses, grouped through etiopathogenetic mechanisms. Each chapter is completed by instructions on the fundamental diagnostic and tactical approaches to the described group of diseases.
