Pompom insulin therapy for the first time began to be used in clinical practice more than 30 years ago, and in recent years it has been rapidly introduced thanks to new technologies that have made this very effective method of insulin therapy quite popular. At the same time, many doctors are still not sufficiently aware of the principles and advantages of such treatment, and this leadership is aimed at replenishing this gap. The book contains a description of various pumps, the methodology for installing the pump and working with it, the selection of basal and painful insulin therapy modes, depending on the nutrition, lifestyle and physical activity of the patient. Due to the fact that at present, the starting selection of infusion of insulin therapy is carried out against the background of continuous monitoring of glycemia, the second part of the book is devoted to it. The leadership also includes a small amount of scientific materials that, to one degree or another, reflect many years of experience in the author’s work in these areas.
