The above lectures are devoted to the presentation of conceptual, theoretical provisions that substantiate the rationality of the widespread use of phytotherapeutic methods in everyday neurological practice. Fundamental premises, determining the high efficiency of herbal medicine, are the idea of the unity of biogeocenosis, the inextricable connections of the flora and fauna of the planet, developed by the genius Russian pharmacologist N. V. Lazarev The theory of the state of unpertically increased resistance of the body achieved with the help of medicinal plants. Experimental confirmations of high, anti-depest, cerebrotective, vasoprotective, antioxidant, stress-limiting and other properties of medicinal plants are given. Methods of treatment, lists and characteristics of the used plants, recipes of polycomponent fees, the principles of personified compilation, specific clinical examples of the effectiveness of herbal medicine are given. For all nosologies, the arsenal of medicinal plants is discussed in detail. The main materials are collected on the basis of the Institute of the Human Brain named after N.P. Bekhtereva RAS.
The author successfully worked and continues to work on problems such as

The high efficiency of herbal medicine is verified clinically, as well as modern hardware, biochemical, psychometric, morphological research methods. The direction of research in connection with their effectiveness was approved by the Presidium of the St. Petersburg Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Given the prevalence of atherosclerosis of the brain arteries, the relevance of the problem of preventing vascular disasters, in particular strokes, the need to search and introduce effective methods for treating patients with multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, the author hopes that this cycle of lectures will be in demand by neurologists, lipidologists, students of medical institutions, students And in some cases, interest for patients suffering from these diseases
