When writing a book, the author used his previous experience in creating textbooks and teaching aids for students of medical, pharmaceutical faculties of medical universities and pharmaceutical schools. In this edition, the main sections of general and private pharmacology are presented in a laconic form. Particular attention is paid to drugs affecting the cardiovascular system, gastrointestinal tract. The section "antitumor agents" is largely redesigned. A new chapter has been introduced, dedicated to drugs that inhibit immunity.
