The textbook was prepared in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard of Secondary Professional Education in the specialty 33.02.01 "Pharmacy", qualification - pharmacist (order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation No. 501 of May 12, 2014, with amendments to order No. 391 of April 9 of April 9 2015) Discipline "Pharmacognosy , along with pharmacology", is part of MDK.01.01 "Medicine" PM.01 "Implementation of drugs and products of a pharmacy assortment".
In this textbook, the subject of pharmacognosy is set out in direct connection with the description of the action and use of vegetable medicines. The issues of harvesting, drying, processing, storage of medicinal plant materials, rational use of resources and the protection of medicinal plants are considered. The required volume contains information on the pharmacopea analysis of drug plant materials. Information about the classification, chemical structure, physicochemical, pharmacological and phytotherapeutic properties of the main groups of biologically active substances, studied types of drug plant raw materials is given.
Additionally considered the raw materials of animal origin. The textbook is intended for students of secondary special pharmaceutical educational institutions - schools, colleges, technical schools.
