The textbook is compiled on the basis of an approximate program for pharmacognosy (specialty 060301 "Pharmacy"), approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation. The book contains general concepts regarding medicinal plants, animals and medicinal plant, as well as animal raw materials, practical aspects of resource science and blanks. The data on the distribution of specific medicinal plants, their workpiece, primary processing, drying and storage are also given. The regulatory documentation is indicated that allows you to draw up an analysis of the finished drug raw materials, its appointment in medical practice, the main drugs made on its basis are listed. The applications give a pharmacological classification of medicinal plants, recommendations on the use of biologically active additives, methodological instructions for the study of herbal preparations, the content of ecotoxicants in drug plant raw materials, the synthesis of substances of various groups.
