The textbook was prepared in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard of Higher Education in the specialties on 31.08.37 "Clinical Pharmacology", 31.08.71 "Organization of Health and Public Health", 33.08.02 "Management and Economics of Pharmacy", as well as in a scientific specialty 04/14/03 "Organization of pharmaceuticals".
The training manual consistently discusses the issues of the methodology of pharmacoeconomic analysis and drug support of diabetes. The first chapter revealed prevalence, pathogenesis, clinical picture and modern pharmacotherapy of diabetes. The second chapter analyzes the consumption of antidiabetic drugs in the Russian pharmaceutical market. The third chapter presents the features of the methodology of pharmacoeconomic studies in the assessment of diabetes. The fourth, fifth and sixth chapters are devoted to examples of pharmacoeconomic assessment of innovative non-sensulin preparations in the treatment of type 2 diabetes, with temporary basal analogues of insulin and modern sore-basic insulin analogues.
